Movement

Since 2003, I have created movement work and performance for stage + film for my NYC-based company, white road Dance Media. In 2008 I began photoing my own dance work.

Shot with Canon EOS Rebel T5 + Canon EOS Rebel T3i.

Still Film

Shot on 35mm + 120mm film.

Appalachian Trail

In 2016 I was fortunate enough to thru hike the Appalachian Trail northbound from Georgia to Maine. This walk took six months, and every day I captured what I saw and felt. In my more extreme moments on trail, whether it was an experience of stress, or elation, or loneliness, picking up the camera helped me process what was happening.

All photos in this project shot with iPhone 6s Plus.

Continental Divide Trail

In 2019, I hiked the CDT southbound from Canada to Mexico as an Artist In Residence for the CDTC. All images here shot with iPhone 8 Plus.

Electric Blood

Project in progress. Animal organs hand dyed.

All images in this project shot with Canon EOS Rebel T5.

Coney Island on a Monday

Every single Monday for a year, from May 2015 to April 2016, I took a Brooklyn bound D train out to Coney Island with a camera. Rain and shine, snow and wind, from crowded summer beaches to the shuttered winter boardwalk, these images are the result of this durational project.

Shot with iPhone 4 and Canon EOS Rebel T5.
